Ocean Grove House

A sustainable alteration to an existing fibro beach shack and new freestanding studio building.

The footprint and structure of the existing house was retained and significantly altered to enable a compact 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house. Sustainable initiatives include passive heating and cooling, existing materials retained and reused, double glazing throughout, Heat Recovery Ventilation, pellet heating, heat pump hot water, electric cooking and solar power system.

The new studio allows for a separate home office and guest bedroom/kids retreat, storage and additional bathroom.
